Our 5,000 square foot facility is open year round. Open daily for recycling drop off. Over 40 different items collected for recycling. Our Warehouse offers used building materials. More recycling drop off locations in outlying areas throughout Summit County. Closed on major holidays.

If you have spare time and are looking for a rewarding and interesting experience, volunteer with Recycle Utah. You'll get fresh air, burn some calories, and make a huge difference to help keep your community cleaner and greener. Our staff is friendly and funky, and you'll learn a whole lot about recycling.

Come in and find out what you can do today!

Here are some of the things you could be doing: 

• Clean-up (sweeping around bins, compacting cardboard,organizing The Warehouse)
• Assisting in the plastics operations - sorting, baling and cleaning
• Answering phones in the office and educating our customers about the center
• Manage the daily operations of the Warehouse
• The weekends are the busiest - so we can always use an extra set of hands from noon till 4 pm!

We also need volunteers to help at special events such as:

• Education Programs
• Public Outreach
• Composting Workshops
• Annual Water Festival
• Trade Shows and Festivals
• Annual special Collection events, i.e., Prescription Drugs, Car Seats, E-Waste
