Our 5,000 square foot facility is open year round. Open daily for recycling drop off. Over 40 different items collected for recycling. Our Warehouse offers used building materials. More recycling drop off locations in outlying areas throughout Summit County. Closed on major holidays.

December 2010 Volunteer of the Month
Dana Peterson

Dana is not only a smiling face around the center - but he's also a fantastic handyman.
Tuesday afternoons are a whirlwind of activity thanks to Dana.
He's a great asset around the center. Thanks Dana for making a difference here at Recycle Utah!
 

November 2010 Volunteer of the Month
Cindy Sam Gottschall

Cindy has become a very important volunteer at many non-profits in Park City.
She willingly spends time at Recycle Utah to help out with any job we give her.
She happily works along side our staff members and other volunteers
and we appreciate all of the support she gives us.
Thank you Cindy for being a part of the Recycle Utah Volunteer Squad.
 

October 2010 Volunteer of the Month
Peter Wright

Peter came to Recycle Utah wanting to make a difference in his life. But now Recycle Utah is different because of Peter! Every Thursday morning, Recycle Utah gets transformed into a new place! The Warehouse gets organized, the plastic tent is clean
and the center just runs like a Swiss Clock!
Thank you Peter for making all of us at Recycle Utah look so darn good!
 

September 2010 Volunteer of the Month
Linda Perkins

After 5 years of helping us out around Recycle Utah,
Linda still has the enthusiasm
and passion that makes everything she does a dream.
Monday afternoons run smoothly and she keeps the
staff and service workers on their toes.
She also recently won the AARP annual Volunteer Award for Utah.
Congratulations Linda and thank you.

 

August 2010 Volunteer of the Month
Jeff Bauer

Jeff took a National Geographic River trip this past spring, and ever since, he’s been "connected" to the earth! So, with that in mind, he showed up
one Sunday to help and has been here ever since.
Thanks Jeff for spending some time with us, you’re salt of the earth!

You can ask her to do anything around the center - and it will get done neatly and fast!
Thank you Linda for all you do - from making cool recycled shopping bags (see picture above) to managing the cell phone recycle program to keeping the treat jar full!!

 

May 2010 Volunteer of the Month award goes to . . .
Sarah Peterson Berkowitz!

Sarah generously donated her creativity this past month to help us with our Galley Mar Recycled Art Workshop by designing and "building" our Mother Earth Mural (to be auctioned off at our Fundraiser!!) She also is designing special limited edition Reusable Bags for Recycle Utah.
