Native Plant Sale

Join us for our Native Plant Sale on Saturday, June 10, from 9 AM to 12 PM at the center! At this annual event, you can purchase native, drought-tolerant plants for your yard or garden. All available plants will thrive in Park City’s high desert/arid mountain environment. All plants are supplied by the Wildland Nursery in Joseph, Utah. Wildland specializes in xeriscaping (native planting), perennial plants, native grasses, drought tolerant plants, and low maintenance landscaping. Their selection

Composting Lunch & Learn

Join Recycle Utah for our free Composting Lunch and Learn on Wednesday, June 14, at noon at the center. Bring your lunch with you and we’ll have some snacks available as well. Yard and food waste composes approximately 30% of the material sent to the landfill each year. Composting uses a small amount of water and oxygen to decompose this waste, turning it into a nutrient-rich fertilizer. Join Recycle Utah for our 6th annual Uncorked outdoor concert at the recycling center on Friday, June 23, from 5 to 9 PM! All proceeds from ticket entry will help fund glass recycling collection programs at Recycle Utah. Tickets will be available at the door for $7 each. 100 Mile Meal

Recycle Utah invites you to celebrate Summit County’s local food, farms, and economy by joining us at our 2nd Annual 100 Mile Meal. We will be getting back to our roots on a beautiful private ranch in Oakley with live music, local wine and beer, and a five-course dinner menu featuring only ingredients sourced from farms within a 100-mile radius of the Recycling Center in Park City. Miners Day Parade

Household Hazardous Waste Collection

FREE Summit County Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day on Saturday, September 30, at the Canyons parking lot. One of our primary goals is to keep toxic chemicals and heavy metals out of our environment. Harvest Fest

The 8th Annual Harvest Festival will be Saturday, October 7, from noon – 5pm at the High Star Ranch in Kamas. The festival is free and open to the public. There will be dozens of vendors selling a dazzling array of local goods; you’re bound to admire the character, flavor, and creativity of the area!
