Join Recycle Utah for the annual “Pride in Your Park” community cleanup event on Saturday, June 22. Volunteers should meet at the City Park at 9 AM to join a crew to pick up trash and recyclables in Park City’s parks, waterways, roadsides, and fields. The clean-up will last until noon. Both trash bags and recycling bags will be provided. Volunteers are asked to bring their own gloves and reusable water bottles.
Recycle Utah invites you to celebrate Summit County’s local food, farms, and economy by joining us at our 2nd Annual 100 Mile Meal. We will be getting back to our roots on a beautiful private ranch in Oakley with live music, local wine and beer, and a five-course dinner menu featuring only ingredients sourced from farms within a 100-mile radius of the Recycling Center in Park City. Come up to Park City’s Historic Main Street & City Park on Labor Day and join the Park City Rotary Club in celebrating our mining heritage during a full day of activities for all ages including the Funky 5k Fun Run, pancake breakfast, parade, live music, softball games, mucking & drilling competitions, kids’ races, beer gardens and vendors. FREE Summit County Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day on Saturday, September 30, at the Canyons parking lot. One of our primary goals is to keep toxic chemicals and heavy metals out of our environment. When toxic materials like mercury, lead, and pesticides end up in the landfill they leach into the ground and into your drinking water. 9 AM – 1 PM for residents. NO businesses. The 8th Annual Harvest Festival will be Saturday, October 7, from noon – 5pm at the High Star Ranch in Kamas. The festival is free and open to the public. There will be dozens of vendors selling a dazzling array of local goods; you’re bound to admire the character, flavor, and creativity of the area! Save yourself a trip to the landfill and take advantage of Dumpster Days! Dumpster Days at Recycle Utah will be held from Monday, October 9, through Saturday, October 14, 2017, from 9 am – 4 pm. Two large bins will be placed on Woodbine Way for garbage and yard waste. Residential waste only! Recycle Utah requests that patrons only use the dumpsters during designated drop-off hours. Volunteers will be available to assist you. No overnight dumping.
