Recycle Utah’s annual Earth Day fundraiser at Wasatch Brew Pub on Saturday, April 22, 2017, from 6 to 9 PM is a celebration of our beautiful Earth and the work we do together to protect it. Please join us! Our 2017 Earth Day Celebration will include a burger bar, drinks, live music, and a silent auction. Your registration includes dinner and two drink tickets. FREE Summit County Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day on Saturday, May 6, at the Canyons parking lot. One of our primary goals is to keep toxic chemicals and heavy metals out of our environment. Save yourself a trip to the landfill and take advantage of Dumpster Days! Dumpster Days at Recycle Utah will be held from Monday, May 8, through Saturday, May 13, 2017, from 9 am – 4 pm. Two large bins will be placed on Woodbine Way for garbage and yard waste. Residential waste only! Recycle Utah requests that patrons only use the dumpsters during designated drop-off hours. Volunteers will be available to assist you. No overnight dumping.
Join Recycle Utah for the annual “Pride in Your Park” community cleanup event on Saturday, May 13. Volunteers should meet at the City Park at 9 AM to join a crew to pick up trash and recyclables in Park City’s parks, waterways, roadsides, and fields. The clean-up will last until noon. Both trash bags and recycling bags will be provided. Volunteers are asked to bring their own gloves and reusable water bottles.
