Insa Riepen
Insa holds the equivalent of a bachelor of arts degree in banking from Germany and a bachelor of arts degree from Wayne State University, Detroit, MI in marketing and journalism. She spent 13 years in the automotive industry, in accounting, procurement and national steel sales. She has owned and run her own business (B&B in Germany), worked in various banks and for IBM, Hamburg. She developed education and outreach programs for a municipal waste authority in Southeastern Michigan and taught workshops on a variety of topics from waste reduction, to composting and using native plant material to prevent run off into the Rouge River, MI.
Insa received certification from the University of Utah's Nonprofit Academy in Leadership and Management for Nonprofits. As Executive Director at Recycle Utah, she has led the organization in growth of services to residents and businesses in Summit County since 1999. She was a board member of the Utah Non-Profit Association for six years. She is the treasurer of the Uinta Headwaters RC&D Council and a member of the board for over 10 years. Insa served two terms as a board member of the Friends of the Farm, overseeing McPolin Farm in Park City. She is also a member of the Park City Rotary Club, and the chair of the grants committee. Insa is involved in local non profits as a volunteer. She likes going for walks with her "recycled" dog, Dandy. Insa believes strongly that sustainability is everyone's business. She knows that Recycle Utah is empowering people to lead more sustainable lives. Daily.
Most recently, Insa was honored with the 2012 Community Leadership award, given annually by Park City's Leadership program. And she received the 2012 "Woman of the Year" award from the Park City Women's Business Network. In addition to all her accomplishments, she would one day like to be known for planting 1,000 apple trees.
Shannon Beglin
Shannon has worked for Recycle Utah for more than 10 years starting off as a part time worker and now is Operations Manager. He has worked in management for several manufacturing plants in California and lumber mills in Oregon. In his spare time, he enjoys camping in the Uintas and high desert and he spends alot of time behind his camera working on his photography skills. His love for the environment and keeping this planet clean inspires him to ensure things are running smoothly here at Recycle Utah.

James D'Angelo
James studied Chemical Technology and Watershed Ecology and has been enthusiastic about environmental conservation all his life. He spent the last 5 years operating a building material re-use program and working in the commercial and residential construction business. He also worked for the US Forest Service. He is a long time recycler and enjoys powder skiing. He is passionate about the efficient use of re-use in all aspects of our lives and encourages others to do the same. He is a valuable asset to the Recycle Utah team.
Emily Stein
Victor Acosta
Victor is a hard-working and good-natured member of the Recycle Utah operations team. He and his wife Ani and their boys have lived in Utah for years, and were happy to make the move up to Park City in 2011. In his free time, he enjoys watching his kids play soccer and tending to his garden, especially the hot peppers.
Amber Nelson
When Amber's not running marathons in her Barefoot running shoes or playing with her dog Rusty, she makes sure our numbers add up and all's accounted for. She owns Nelson & Hanson Accounting with her husband, Chris Hanson.
