E-waste Disposal

Accepted daily at the Park City location except holidays:

Cell phones, pagers, pdas, ipods

Computers, CPUs, keyboards, scanners, boom boxes, stereos, any electronics

Monitors, laptops, microwaves – Pay $5 per item for safe disposal of toxins

Television sets – Pay $5 < 21” or $10 > 21” for safe disposal of toxins

Where does it go?

All e-waste is sorted by type, palletized and shipped to a de-manufacturing plant in Ogden where plastics, heavy metals, toxins are re-sorted and shipped to re-use/ recycling centers. Hard plastics are baled and sent to China for further processing.
