Prescription & Over-the-Counter Medicines

Never flush prescription medications down the toilet or sink because they greatly affect water quality.

 

 Old, out of date and un-usable prescription medicines can now be dropped at the following locations:

• The Park City Police Department Building at 2060 Park Ave - 24 hours / 7 days. For more information contact them at 435-615-5505.
• The Summit County Sheriff's Office in Silver Summit between 9 am and 5 pm.  Located at 6300 North Silver Creek Drive. Contact them at:

Call Summit County Department of Public Works at 615-3970 to determine if the medicines will be accepted at the Three Mile Canyon landfill. 

Or,  wrap medicines in their original containers tightly in aluminum foil and throw them into your trash.
