Recycle Utah’s mission of ‘empowering people to lead sustainable lives’ is something Carolyn believes very strongly in and that’s what drew her to Recycle Utah initially, joining the organization as a board member in 2015. “I got involved with Recycle Utah after I graduated from Leadership Park City in 2014 and wanted to volunteer with a nonprofit. Recycle Utah was at the top of my list, as I’m always looking for ways to live more sustainably, leaving our earth better than we found it. I am constantly encouraging others to do the same,” said Carolyn.
Carolyn has a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Minnesota and has been living in Park City since 2007. Carolyn’s background is in marketing, branding and digital strategy, having worked as Senior Specialist in Brand Equity for Park City Mountain Resort in her most recent role.
In her free time, you’ll find Carolyn running trails in the summer and snowboarding them in the winter. She’ll spend as much time outdoors as possible. She lives in Jeremy Ranch with her husband Chris and dog named Penguin.
